MSLE AI (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered nutrition and calorie tracking application owned and operated by Vipra Design Labs Pvt. Ltd., located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use MSLE AI, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
This Policy is designed in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: your name, email address, and authentication details when you create an account.
Nutrition data: meal photos you capture, foods logged, calorie and macronutrient records, dietary preferences, and nutrition goals.
Body and profile data you choose to provide: age range, weight, height, activity level, and goals (e.g., lose weight, maintain, build muscle, improve nutrition) used to personalize calorie and macro targets.
Health integrations: if you connect Apple Health or similar services, we read only the categories you authorize (such as steps, active energy, and weight) to provide context to your nutrition tracking.
Usage and device data: app interactions, device type, operating system, and diagnostic logs used to keep the App reliable.
3. How We Use Your Information
To recognize food in your photos and estimate calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fats.
To generate personalized calorie and macro targets and nutrition insights.
To maintain your meal history, daily nutrition dashboard, and progress trends.
To improve recognition accuracy and the overall quality of the App, using de-identified and aggregated data wherever possible.
To communicate with you about your account, product updates, and support requests.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. AI Processing of Meal Photos
Meal photos you take are processed by AI models to identify foods and estimate nutrition. Images are used solely to provide and improve this functionality.
We take reasonable measures to ensure photos are not used to identify you personally and are not shared with advertisers.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the App (such as cloud hosting and analytics), bound by confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process under the laws of India.
6. Data Retention and Security
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
We apply industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional processing (such as health integrations) at any time through the App or by contacting us.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you also have the right to grievance redressal regarding your personal data.
8. Children
MSLE AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow individuals under 13 to create an account or use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
