AI & Nutrition Disclaimer
Last updated: October 2026
MSLE AI uses AI to help you track food, nutrition and fitness, and to offer general guidance. It is a helpful tool, not a health professional. Please read this page so you know what to expect.
AI can be wrong
Information generated by AI is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or up to date. Always use your own judgement.
Food recognition
When you scan a meal, MSLE AI may sometimes identify a food, ingredient or portion size incorrectly. You can review and edit what is logged.
Calories and macros are estimates
Calorie, protein, carbohydrate and fat values are estimates. Actual nutritional values can differ depending on recipe, preparation and portion.
How your targets are calculated: your daily calorie, protein, carbohydrate, fat, fibre and water targets are estimates based on published methods and guidelines. You can see each method and its source in the app under Profile > Health Sources.
Packaged food data: barcode results come from Open Food Facts, a free public database. Product details there can occasionally be incomplete or wrong, so check the pack's nutrition label when accuracy matters.
AI Coach and MSLE Intelligence
